Binding & Page-Count Decision Tool
Use this planning tool to narrow down binding options for a book, booklet, manual, workbook or report. It does not replace a production assessment: paper bulk, grain direction, finished thickness, cover construction, opening behaviour and quantity can change what is practical.
Planning guidance only. Final suitability depends on paper bulk/caliper, cover, finished thickness, quantity and the production route confirmed in writing.
Why Page Count Alone Is Not Enough
A 100-page document on light uncoated paper is physically different from 100 pages on heavy coated stock. Binding feasibility depends on the complete specification. Use the tool as a shortlist, then send the actual pages, stock and quantity for confirmation.
