Printing Help Centre
Practical guidance for preparing artwork, choosing paper and binding, planning packaging and sending the specifications our estimators need for accurate commercial-print quotations.
Before sending artwork
PDF & bleed
Supply a print-ready PDF where possible, with 3 mm bleed on trimmed edges and important text kept safely inside the trim.
See artwork requirements →Colour & images
Use CMYK for commercial print artwork and aim for high-resolution images at final size. Our team can flag obvious production issues before printing.
Booklets & books
Send finished size, page count, quantity, colour, paper preference and binding style. For booklets, total pages normally need to work in printer spreads.
Book printing →Training manuals
Include quantity, page count, colour mix, divider tabs if required, binding, covers and packing or kitting requirements.
Training manuals →Packaging
For custom boxes, provide dimensions, quantity, board or flute preference, artwork, finishing and whether a dieline or prototype is required.
Custom packaging →Delivery
Include the delivery suburb, city or province with the enquiry so transport can be included or quoted separately as required.
